We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead and oversee legal services for the CEEI zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support Schneider Electric's operations.
What will you do?
- Deliver all legal services for SE Romania, Moldova, Israel, Armenia, and the zone
- Provide commercially relevant legal advice and assistance for day-to-day activities, covering all areas of Commercial, Corporate, and Employment activities (excluding M&A, IP, and Insurance)
- Review, supervise, and implement GLD policies, processes, and procedures
- Operate as a key business partner, providing high-quality legal services and strategic support to Schneider Electric's operations in the zone
- Support the appointed Compliance Officer in investigations on ethical concerns and misconduct
- Oversee and report on claims and litigation
- Lead legal support for Global Strategic Accounts originating from the zone
- Provide primary legal support to the Data Privacy Officer for the zone
- Support transversal activities with local implementation
- Assist other GLD members as requested by Legal Management.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Fully qualified lawyer authorized to practice law in Romania with a Master/Bachelor of Laws degree or higher
- Six or more years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in an in-house environment and preferably in the Construction, Oil & Energy, or Renewables & Environment sectors
- Prior experience in commercial/contract law is essential; additional exposure to competition law is advantageous
- Fluent in Romanian and English (written and verbal); knowledge of Hebrew is a plus
- Ability to identify and analyze critical business issues and apply legal expertise to deliver solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, commercially minded, highly organized, and effective in teams
- Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, manage conflict, and solve problems
- Comfortable providing legal support in a fast-paced enterprise sales environment
- Considerable legal judgment, experience, and independent reasoning
- Ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
