What do you get to do in this position?
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you have experience designing, deploying, operating and supporting Servers, Hypervisors, Storage, Networking, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory and the systems running on them. The position also supports Disaster Recovery and the automation of the replication and restoration of services, files, and applications.

The position will provide many interesting, hard-core technical challenges and as much responsibility as you can handle.
Responsibilities:
- VMWare Administration
- Storage Administration, On-Premise and Virtual (VSAN)
- Windows Server Administration and Troubleshooting
- Linux and Unix Server Administration and Troubleshooting
- Backup/Restore configuration and administration
- Creation of Technical and Process documentation of existing and new environments
- Resolving tickets and issues associated with the physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to apply a working knowledge of networking and web services (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing (F5)).
- Monitor, support, configure and physically build systems
- Assist with testing, certification and documentation of new systems, environments and cloud services.
- On-call rotation participation mandatory
- Any other related activities that could be requested
Qualifications
This position might be for you if:
- 3+ years of hands-on IT experience, supporting a diverse set of Systems Infrastructure technologies and administration requirements.
- Experience with VMware Vsphere, Vcenter and other VMware tools
- Experience with SAN architecture, implementation and management
- Hands-On Server Hardware Experience
- Windows Server, Linux & UNIX OS proficiency
- Familiarity with backup (Prefferred Veeam Backup & Replication Skills), restore and disaster recovery tools and processes
- Accomplished professional demonstrating both team and key individual contributions
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with end-users, business owners, developers, managers, and systems engineers.
- An understanding of IT security and technical implementation as a basic capability.
- On-Call Rotation Required.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Strong Networking background, especially as it applies to SDN (Software Defined Network) , SDDC (Software Defined Data Center), NSX and HCI
- Understand the following protocols: NFS, iSCSI, CiFS, and TCP/IP
- Load Balancer configuration and administration experience, specifically F5.
- Experience with Hyper-V preferred
- Certification or equivalent engineering experience in multiple OS's, VM and storage systems, Windows Server, SAN, Networking, Cloud
- Experience with In-sourced, Out-sourced and Cloud Environments (Pubic, Private, Hybrid)
- AWS and or Azure Cloud Administration experience
