We are currently seeking a Embedded Software Engineer to join our Process Automation Division, Hyderabad. Reporting to the Product owner, the candidate will work for a range of process automation product lines. The candidate will translate business requirements for embedded devices into use cases and tangible technical specifications. The candidate will work closely with internal cross-functional teams including product managers, system architects, hardware and software design engineers, test engineers and engineering management. The candidate must be able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will:

Key Elements of the role:

• Design world class safety critical process automation systems complying to IEC61508
• Preferably a Safety Certified F/W engineer
• Interact with cross functional engineering teams across the company
• Dive into and take ownership for critical design issues
• Participate in design reviews
• Address all aspects of technology readiness, including manufacturability
• Help build robust methodology and processes to deliver technology to products

• 12-15 years of Experience in standard tools for embedded system development (ICE, emulators, debuggers, simulators, Logic analyzer)
• Deeply embedded, device development with C/++, ARM, Microcontrollers, Wireless communication, BLE, algorithms, Linux and RTOS
• Create new products to compliment our platform
• Design and develop innovative & highly optimized controllers integrating advanced communication and navigation technologies
• Study and benchmark emerging technologies and solutions to define technology roadmaps
• Drive multiple cross department multiregional designs from concept through realization (hands on in every aspect of the process)
• Engage with strategic customers to define highly optimized solutions with special attention to under experience
