• You will partner with the business and DCS finance team in the decision-making process through a deep understanding of the commercial drivers affecting performance and providing insightful analysis to drive actions.

• You will be working with Tendering, Sales, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and approval for Data Center opportunities.

• This role will also be tasked with professionalizing and formalizing the roadmap and data underpinning DCS reporting and analysis along the NAM Finance transformation journey.

• The DCS Business Finance Senior Analyst is a key stakeholder in enforcing and upholding strong internal controls and instilling an environment of compliance.

• This DCS Business Finance opportunity should serve as an excellent opportunity and challenge, leading to development of commercial/ back-office business partnering and controlling skill sets and should position you well to further your career with strong performance and development in role.

• This DCS Business Finance opportunity is preferably based out of the Nashville Hub

Roles & Responsibilities

• Define roadmap for existing segment reporting in the context of Horizon, with a focus on enhancing the accuracy and relevance of financial reporting within the DC segment.

• Professionalize and modernize current reporting for DC Segment in NAM, ensuring that financial reports are comprehensive, actionable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

• Drive consistency of data sources by collaborating with cross-functional teams to standardize financial data collection and reporting processes.

• Support work on cash reporting by analyzing what data is available and how it can be leveraged to present insightful reports to key stakeholders.

• Drive alignment with BU controllers on Segment view versus BU view, fostering collaboration and ensuring coherence in financial reporting across business units.

• Act as the DCS Finance contact for deals under 20M, providing financial expertise and support for deals falling within the specified monetary range.

• Serve as a business partner to the Program Management Team, offering financial insights, support for program-related financial activities and drive forecasting for Program Management allocation across applicable opportunities.

• Act as a backup for DCS controllers, being prepared to step in and fulfill controller responsibilities when necessary.

• Provide dedicated support for certain Strategic Account Executives (SAEs) and accounts.

• Review, Develop, Implement and Validate the Key Internal Controls for the scope.

• Be the point of contact for various specialists, including Tax, Audit, AP/AR, ...

• Support and oversee the Budget & Forecast Processes, working with business partners and GSC Central Functions to drive forecast accuracy and actions.

• Review & ensure accuracy and validity of the financial statements.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting -or- MBA /CPA also welcomed

• At least 3+ years related progressive financial experience, Supply chain Finance, FP&A or commercial finance experience preferred but not required

• Advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, Power Point, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP and SQL) and the ability and desire to adapt to new systems and applications quickly

• Possess superior Excel skills including charting and ability to manipulate large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information

• Be a "Digital Citizen" - actively looking to leverage systems/tools/analytics and data to provide efficient visibility to performance and actionable observations and insights to commercial team and other stakeholders

• Natural curiosity and desire to learn, ability to adapt to a changing landscape and environment and think End-to-End, ensuring correct decision for the local operation, the customer and Schneider Electric

• Strong ability to work with and influence colleagues, teams and others not within direct reporting relationship

• Strong financial/analytical skills with proven business acumen to connect financial performance to business strategy

• Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams

• Genuine desire and ability to work with teams to enable outcomes, as well as influencing directly and indirectly numerous stakeholders and resources to acquire information and insights as needed
