As a Senior EHS Specialist at Schneider Electric, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a robust Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department for our rapidly expanding Modular Data Center Business. In this dynamic environment, you will lead EHS initiatives across North America Modular Data Center facilities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. Your leadership will not only drive performance and quality across teams but also contribute significantly to the well-being of our employees and the satisfaction of our customers.
Your Main Missions will be:
To lead the Environmental, Health and Safety activities for NAM Modular Data Center facilities ensuring consistency and robustness of the performance and quality with intra-group (IG) and out-group (OG) teams and programs.

Modular Data Center Business expectations
- A dynamic and fast-growing environment within Data Center Systems LoB, working closely with NAM execution team, Solutions Supply Chain, plants, business, and Global Supply Chain (GSC).
- A position with responsibilities and missions which will challenge your leadership, time management and prioritization skills.
- Multiple and various contacts internally and externally for the best satisfaction of our employees, business processes while delivering customer satisfaction.
- A function leveraging internal and external best-in-class EHS techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of the EHS program at the facility.
- Enforce compliance with EHS policies, programs, and standards, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Conduct audits, identify non-compliance, and recommend sustainable corrective actions. Monitor and drive completion of the identified corrective actions.
- Develop the facility safety training plan.
- Provide monthly safety training, including new hire orientation training.
- Investigate injuries, near misses, conditions, and incidents to discover root causes and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Implement of the ergonomic plan at the facility to help identify methods to prevent musculoskeletal disorders injuries.
- Lead the plantwide safety/ergonomics teams.
- Develop and lead the plant emergency response team.
- Work with production and management to foster a safety culture and address concerns.
Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing/construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Understanding of ergonomics and methods to prevent musculoskeletal disorders injuries.
- Experience in facilitating in-house training programs.
- Experience conducting accident and incident investigations.
