F or this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training

Job Description: We are seeking highly skilled SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Engineers to join our team, with particular emphasis on AVEVA System Platform knowledge.
The SCADA Engineer ing role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining , and troubleshooting SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial and critical building automation processes.
This role requires a deep understanding of SCADA software, hardware, and network infrastructures, as well as a strong commitment to ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
You will leverage Schneider Electric's overall industrial automation product line to develop and deliver innovative solutions and technologies to today's top web giants and segment leaders .
These role s report directly to our Engineering Innovation Leadership and are pivotal to supporting our national and global key accounts .
Key Responsibilities:
- SCADA System Design & Implementation: Design and configure SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling industrial processes, ensuring they meet design specifications .
- System Maintenance & Support: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of SCADA systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Integration & Automation: Integrat e to other IT systems ; Integrate SCADA systems with other control systems, sensors, devices, and databases to automate processes and data collection.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on real-time system data to optimize operational efficiency and prevent downtime.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure that SCADA systems are secure from cyber threats and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve system faults and issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and engineering, to support the seamless operation of SCADA systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SCADA system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay abreast of latest technologies and trends including artificial intelligence (AI /ML )
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical , mechanical, chemical engineering , computer science, or a related technical field ; or equivalent combination of training and technical experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in SCADA system design, implementation, and support.
- Strong experience s with SCADA software platforms (e.g., AVEVA System Platform, Wonderware, Ignition, Siemens, GE iFIX, etc.) with p roficiency in SCADA and HMI software configuration and management.
- Strong understanding of industrial and or building automation processes .
- Strong understanding of network architecture and system integration with k nowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles for control systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, DNP3, OPC, etc.).
- Experience with PLCs, BMS's, RTUs, and other automation systems with an u nderstanding of control systems and automation hardware (e.g., PLCs, sensors, relays, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Customer facing communication quality with strong emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Strong , independent problem-solving skills and ability to develop a goal-oriented mindset .
Preferred Qualifications:
- AVEVA System Platform and OSI PI experiences.
- SCADA certification or relevant industry certifications.
- Experience with cloud-based SCADA systems or IoT integration.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control system design.
- Building automation and data center experience .
