This posting is for an experienced Commissioning Engineer of Digital Energy BMS
systems in large and complex Projects such as Life Sciences and Data Centers.
This is a customer facing position, working on customer site during all commissioning
phases - Travel 80% of time away from home location.
The successful candidate shall have 8 years+ experience working with Commissioning
complex BMS Mechanical Control Systems and with evidence of such formal training
and be able to demonstrate such systems they have worked with during the Interview.

of BMS Software and Graphics and shall evidence experience in one or more of the
following platforms: -
- EcoStruxure™ BMS Building Operation by Schneider Electric.
- NiagaraTridium.
- Siemens Desigo or Apogee.
- Johnson Controls Metasys.
- Honeywell Building BMS Systems / Trend Controls.
- PLC Platforms for Mechanical Control Systems in Buildings.
Training on products where you do not have their knowledge, will be provided where
required.
The Senior Commissioning Engineer role would report to the Regional Operations
Manager and work closely with the Country stakeholders, project management
team(s), SI partners, etc to schedule commissioning activities, execute commissioning
activities, coordinate with the selected System Integrator or internal commissioning
team.
The Senior Commissioning Engineer must be an excellent team player, able to adapt
to a dynamic and geographically disbursed environment.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Accountable for Commissioning execution
- Attend daily on-site meeting and be the SE "face"
- Responsible for ensuring aligned execution approach, Engineering Standards,
documentation etc. across all projects in the region.
- Manage the timely resolution of issues and escalate to Regional Operations when
required.
- Continually identify and proactively manage project risks and issues and ensure
execution of corrective action plans up to closure.- Adopt a dynamic and agile approach to all Commissioning execution activities to
ensure schedule compliance and client satisfaction.
Other Desirables:
- Experience of commissioning large EMPS / ENMS Systems.
- Experience in construction project commissioning in complex architectures and
ASHRAE commissioning standards.
- Multi-language and multi-cultural working experience.
- An acceptable command of the written English language.

Project Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
Project reporting and progress tracking requirements.
Summary of Project Scope for Commissioning Elements
Implement the project deliverables through the Commissioning activities portion to
ensure a compliant success of the approved Design and Engineering works including
- Support and provide advice to other Commissioning Engineers in the team.
- Facilitate close co-ordination with 3rd parties (commissioning agents, equipment
vendors, other trades, project stakeholders) to ensure commissioning schedule is
maintained and achieved.
- Systems Points Lists (Hardwired and High-level), Controls, Graphics screens,
alarms, and trend logs.
- Where errors are found during the Commissioning activities, be able to suggest
and implement corrections.
- Report to the Project Manager daily or weekly with progress achieved and issues
encountered.
- Forecast Commissioning activities for a 2 weekly look ahead and contribute
expected resource levels.
- Demonstrate the full compliance to the Clients Advisors of the completed
Commissioning works in accordance with the Design & Engineering requirements
and provide annotated screen shots for record purposes, along with check lists
and deviation schedules to ASHRAE commissioning standards.
- Contribute to all Healthy and Safety requirements of the project including Safe
Start Meetings, and Near Miss Reporting.

Commissioning Activities
L1 - SFAT, FAT & FWT - Carryout Commissioning in accordance with the provided
Design & Engineering documentation to ensure that Equipment / System is
operational and ready to be deployed onsite.
L2 - Check the manufacture of control panels is correct against the Design &
Engineering Documents, Check the point-to-point connections are correct between
the Control Panel and Field Device, Check the Field device is the correct part and is
installed in the correct location, check field labeling is correct, record all checks and
all deviations. Check point to point all Modbus RTU / BACnet installations between the
device and the Gateway's, record all checks and all deviations.
Provide progress reports throughout the duration of the activities.
L3 - Carryout detailed point to graphics checks including hardwired and High-level
points, including values, alarms, graphical animation, failover scenarios. Where
required, carryout injection testing to validate individual points. Where not covered in
L2, check the field devices are the correct type and range and that they have been
installed to the Design & Engineering requirements and the manufacture's data
sheets.
Carryout Control tests as described in the Functional Design or Sequence of
Operations to fully test the Equipment and Systems of the Design & Engineering
requirements. Record all test results within the provided test script documentation.
Following completion of the L3 scope per Equipment or System demonstrate the full
compliance to the Clients Advisors of the completed Commissioning works in
accordance with the Design & Engineering requirements and provide annotated
screen shots for record purposes, along with check lists and deviation schedules.
L4 - Provide support to the Clients Advisors for testing of Equipment and Systems
against the Clients Advisors test scripts, including the provision of annotated screen
shots.
L5 - Integrated Systems Testing - Provide support to the Clients Advisors for testing
of Equipment and Systems against the Clients Advisors test scripts, including the
provision of annotated screen shots.
Project Close - Provide a summary report for any known issues that require residual
attention and contribute to Lessons Learned sessions
