Develop and/or support automation application designs for manufacturing equipment for GSC Plant based in internal SE standards

What do you get to do in this position?

• Provides complex diagnostics and modifications for developed machine with PLC & HMI.

• Knows very well and use often the most important PLC language (LD, ST, SFC), and globally knows IL and FDB language.

• Able to develop cobot and robot program and provide support for troubleshooting.

• Adjust regulation parameters, knows/uses most of the parameters of the drivers.

• Provides complex diagnostics and modifications for developed vision systems.

• Carry out enhancements in deployed IIoT solutions and horizontal deployment within the plants.

• Support during assembly, debugging, calibration, qualification, and production running-up with electrical and mechanical engineer.

• Delivers documentation package for project.

• Helps establish technical strategies, internal procedures, and best practices.

• Troubleshoots product and system issues related to equipment solutions.

• May provide mentoring, instructions/assistance to lower levels.

• Selects and proposes the most appropriate product or product combinations to meet customer needs.

• Understands applications, features and benefits of Schneider Electric and complementary products.

• Applies local codes and standards.

• Supports product sourcing, purchasing and component selection as required by the design process.

• Collaborate with assembly teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required.

• Participates in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and codes.

• Collaborate during commissioning and Site Acceptance Test, to fulfill End User requirements.

Technical support and Customer service. (Willing to travel up to 70%).

This job might be for you if:

Education: Automation / Electrical / Electronics - Bachelor's degree or related field

Job Related Experience: More than 5 years of experience integrating automation systems for test and/or assembly automatic equipment for high volume production.

Business Understanding: Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as electrical testing, automatic assembly, palletizing, pick and place systems, vision inspection systems.

Others (e.g., language skills, technical skills): Strong knowledge of ECAD modeling. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (both English and Spanish)
