Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Application Engineer in Franklin, TN.
Job Description: Design, plan, research, evaluate, and test complex systems used to monitor and control electrical equipment and systems. Help customers maintain the reliability and performance of their systems and address any potential technical problems on the operations side. Assist Onsite Engineers with site-specific difficulties during new site commissioning as well as system upgrades and expansions. Ensure the integrity of data, implementation, and infrastructure to achieve superior system performance. Work closely with Schneider Electric internal teams and business units to proactively manage customer relationships and satisfaction. Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to ensure customer feedback into future designs. Research, identify, develop, and recommend corrective measures to address technical issues identified in the field or in-house. Participate in power monitoring system development projects by contributing knowledge of customer applications, providing user information requirements, providing test scenarios and typical use-cases, and occasionally participating in product development and testing. Identify and qualify product failures and assist product engineering in understanding and resolving them. Collaborate to suggest improvements in key performance indicators and measures. Position eligible for 100% remote work reporting to management in Franklin, TN.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in software application testing and troubleshooting, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following: Developing, analyzing and maintaining applications and databases by evaluating client needs; Communicating using protocols in Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and IEC61850; Using Modicon PLC platforms and software; Development incorporating and accounting for MiComm Protective Relays and cyber security software such as BeStrom and Nessus; and Installing and maintaining PowerSCADA and Power Monitoring Expert application software.
