Schneider Electric Buildings Americas, Inc. seeks a Schneider Electric North America Energy Manager in Troy, MI.
Job Description: Lead annual and semiannual strategy planning and review meetings with the SEA-NA team. Provide billing to ensure project cost transfer revenues are accurately recorded. Lead budget to estimate and track costs to budget for the entire SEA-NA program and report to the SEA-NA team. Lead weekly calls on a variety of program topics with the SEA-NA team. Provide technical and program level training to a variety of personnel. Maintain the North American Energy Best Practices document. Provide monthly tracking of energy project implementation for the sites included in the program and maintain energy models and baselines for all sites. Provide on-call technical assistance using team engineering resources to assist sites with energy-related questions and project implementation. Schedule and conduct Energy Reviews at Schneider Electric facilities. Proactively seek and pursue opportunities to continually improve the SEA-NA program. Assist SEA-NA facilities with the implementation of ISO 50001 Energy Management System. Present at conferences, meet with existing or potential customers, and support sales efforts. 25% travel (20% domestic, 5% international) required within USA, Canada, and Mexico to conduct energy consumption reviews and hold planning meetings.

Requirements: Position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in energy engineering, energy management, sustainability management, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Assessing industrial and commercial systems (HVAC, air compressors, boilers, chillers) for specific actions to implement energy savings opportunities; Applying engineering fundamentals to calculations of energy and cost savings opportunities to determine potential savings for identified savings projects; Using linear regression techniques on engineering problems to quantify the impact of energy conservation activities, including quality and environmental performance and EnPI reporting; and Applicant should hold at least one of the following certifications: PE, CEM, PEM, CEA, 50001 CP EnMS, CMVP, CBCP, or CIEP.
