- Provide pre-sales technical support, answering customer inquiries, and addressing concerns about product functionality and compatibility.
- Train sales teams on the technical aspects of products or services, enabling them to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
- Collaborate with customers to design and execute PoCs to validate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including proposals, case studies, and technical specifications.
- Stay informed about competitors' offerings and market trends to effectively position the company's products or services.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or communication Engineering
- Strong technical knowledge on VFD's, PLCs, HMI, SCADA, Cyber Security and Field Testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings or demonstrations.
- Knowledge of industry-specific tools and software may be required, depending on the sector.
- Industrial Communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC DA/UA, IEC 61850, etc) knowledge is a must.
- Schneider Electric RTU/PLC (SCADA Pack, Modicon) experience is a must.
- L2 & L3 Networking design experience is a must.
- Best Performance HMI (Situational awareness, GIS maps. Etc.) knowledge would be a plus.
- AVEVA SCADA, CSI Certification would be a plus.
- ISA 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamental Specialist Certification would be a plus.
- Functional Safety Systems knowledge would be a plus.
- Strong Knowledge of Install Base business for developing and driving solutions such as Modernization, Retrofitting, AMC's, Digital Services, Trainings etc.
- 7+ years of Technical Sales experience with customers in the O&G, MMM, Water, Building, Transportation, Utilities Segments in different service categories across the Gulf Region.
- Ability to leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan. Consistently demonstrates alignment to organizational strategy to advance opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present their views in a clear and compelling manner.
- Adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and can thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience in UAE, Qatar, Oman & Kuwait market is an added advantage.
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
