Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Distribution Channel team in Oman, responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market coverage with different stakeholders in projects through local panel builders and in retail market . The successful candidate will focus on defending our existing customer base and expanding our coverage with retailers and local panel builders. This person will leverage our product and market knowledge to build strong relationships, identify new opportunities, and convert customers to Schneider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to defend our existing customer base and expand our market coverage with retailers and local panel builders and other project stakeholders (Contractors and Consultants)

- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with customers to understand their needs, provide product demonstrations, and promote Schneider solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and increase market share
- Provide technical support and product training to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of Schneider products
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, marketing managers channel and offer, to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall sales growth of the company
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales or a related field in the Oman market, preferably in the electrical manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Strong product knowledge of electrical manufacturing products, including those offered by Schneider
- Good understanding of the Oman market, including key players, trends, and competitor activity
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and drive sales growth
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have:
- Schneider product training or certification
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Knowledge of local market regulations and standards
