Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Sales Director supporting our Secure Power Division.

Location: United States

The Director, Sales, Cloud/Internet Giant/Hyperscale, will lead the V2 sales efforts working collaboratively across various organizations to drive Schneider Electric Solutions and market share. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Strategic Accounts.

What will you do?

  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams within Schneider.
  • Drive the team for consistent feedback to Schneider Electric amid the ever-evolving high-compute landscape.
  • Assist the team in driving new Schneider Electric solutions tailored to meet the demands of hyperscale applications.
  • Utilize the Account Plan Tool to enhance future sales and improve customer experience.
  • Hold weekly cadence calls to drive strategy and receive customer updates.
  • Develop and execute short and long term sales strategies. Foster teamwork, build and lead effective teams committed to achieving organizational goals, collaborate openly and position teams to address relevant business and customer goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring. Attract, hire and lead top tier candidates.
  • Develop and execute aggressive customer retention, development and acquisition strategy.
  • Manage multiple complex sales engagements.
  • Execution of strategic coverage and go to market strategy.
  • Budget planning and Opex control
  • Revenue forecasting and attainment of revenue goals
  • Drive education and development programs to grow the sales efficiency of all sales employees.
  • Provide thought leadership for and managing relationships with business partners and value chain (resellers, agents, contractors, engineering firms, etc.)
  • Drive the use of reporting tools as the source and archive for all data, actions, commitments, and tracking of business.
  • Knowledge of and established relationships with Large Enterprise accounts.
  • Experience working directly with key customers in large or strategic opportunities.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • The role requires the ability to form and develop high level relationships with customers. Strong sales operations skills. Creative thinking and problem solving. The ability to motivate, inspire, and energize people. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple issues and/or projects at one time and work effectively in a highly matrixed organization. Experience working in a cross-functional business team environment and ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other departments within the course of work.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years Enterprise Sales experience
  • 10+ years of sales management experience, preferably in a multi-state territory
  • Data center experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the year
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, negotiation skills, and superior presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 20 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.
