The Sales Bid Specialist is an integral part of the Sales team and will manage the RFQ process from entry onto Schneider to delivery of pricing & offer. Working with multiple teams to coordinate the response to the RFQ and internally provide feedback on process improvement.
What will you do?
- After reviewing the incoming requests you will generate opportunities in the CRM tool and coordinate the build of the bill of material with the respective Competency Centers and fulfil additional items not supported by the Competency Centers to provide the full material requirements for a complete response to the RFQ.
- In alignment with the Sales Strategy, you manage the pricing approval along with any special delivery needs required at the quotation stage, preparing the package for communication back to the requestors.
- You will have the ability to manage full RFQ's that are outside of the scope of the solution centers; small add to existing, replacement items and other requests to satisfy the RFQ.
- As part of the Sales triage, you will provide recommendations to the Sales team on desirable/less desirable RFQ's and how those should be satisfied.

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Technical Degree/Diploma in Electrical Discipline
- Min. 3 years of quotation, project management, or sales experience in the Electrical Industry
- Ability to understand single lines and specifications to engage the respective Support Centers
- Strong process understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams
- Understanding of local market dynamics, pricing strategies and commercial processes
