This is a strategic service for our company, as a robust commodity risk reporting is instrumental to our customers' success and satisfaction. In this role you will have to collaborate with several internal stakeholders and colleagues across Europe, America and Asia.

Please note, this is an Entry-level role within the team.

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Analyzing complex contractual and market structure data to translate it into effective tools for monitoring risk management performance
  • Gaining and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on energy commodity markets, developing a profound knowledge of country level and regional differences across these markets
  • Continuously auditing risk management reports
  • Supporting trade execution and risk management on a daily basis
  • Working closely with our client stakeholders, client managers, and various other internal teams in Asia, Europe and North-America to deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients
  • Openness towards developing and automatizing models, systems and processes, especially in Excel



What we need from you:

  • College or University diploma or degree (preferably in a quantitative field)
  • Fluent English (written and verbal); working proficiency in other European languages is an advantage
  • Experience in the use of MS Excel, and willingness to develop further
  • Experience in the use of databases is an advantage

Desired skills & competencies that can make you the successful candidate:

  • Great level of analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good level of listening and interpersonal skills, effective communication with internal stakeholders is required
  • Resistance to pressure and ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Willingness to take ownership, excellent standards of reliability and accountability
  • Experience in working in a multinational company and knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage
