Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Remote Account Manager who will be responsible for the development and growth of sales to electrical contractors in the greater Quebec or Montreal regions. You must be a knowledgeable, passionate, and results-oriented individual who wants to make a difference in sales by providing value and outstanding customer service. What will you do?
- Prospect, identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
- Follow up on projects and negotiate sales prices with contractors
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed territory objectives
- Work closely with external marketing and sales teams.
- Work on pricing strategies based on market conditions and changing dynamics of the region.
- Maintain post-sales relationship, cultivate, develop and maintain long term customer relationships.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

- College or Bachelor's degree with an electrical emphasis
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry
- Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Proven sales, presentation and negotiation skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 5-10% within the region
- Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
