Remote Account Management - Contractors

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Remote Account Manager who will be responsible for the development and growth of sales to electrical contractors in the greater Quebec or Montreal regions. You must be a knowledgeable, passionate, and results-oriented individual who wants to make a difference in sales by providing value and outstanding customer service. What will you do?

  • Prospect, identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
  • Follow up on projects and negotiate sales prices with contractors
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed territory objectives
  • Work closely with external marketing and sales teams.
  • Work on pricing strategies based on market conditions and changing dynamics of the region.
  • Maintain post-sales relationship, cultivate, develop and maintain long term customer relationships.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

We know that skills and competencies manifest themselves in different ways and can be based on your life experience. If you do not necessarily meet all of the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position.

  • College or Bachelor's degree with an electrical emphasis
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry
  • Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Proven sales, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel 5-10% within the region
  • Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
