The Regional Service Sales Manager is the leader of a selling team comprised of Account Representatives in an assigned ASCO Power Services Sales Region. The leader is accountable for consistently achieving regional sales and profitability goals. The leader is accountable for acquiring new business and achieving consistent incremental sales growth for all products/services offered. This role provides direction and leadership to the Regional staff while responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and market share within the Central US region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Sets the vision for the sales region and develops business development plan to attain this vision.
  • Develops annual booking quotas for Account Representatives by product to meet corporate financial objectives.
  • Responsible for establishing monthly/quarterly regional forecasting and sales tracking.
  • Creates and executes regional sales plan that meet or exceed established booking quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets.
  • Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects within the region to understand their evolving business needs and position service solutions to meet surfaced needs.
  • Builds long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing customers and prospects.
  • Establishes an environment and foundation for sustainable future sales growth. Sells and coaches subordinates how to sell value and solutions to customers/prospects.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of sales and profitability within the region.
  • Manages and organizes the sales opportunity pipeline in the service business system(s).
  • Prepare and present annual performance evaluations to regional staff.
  • Establish Performance and Development goals for regional staff and follow up with regular cadence.
  • Develop salary action recommendations while balancing salary budget.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participates in conferences and professional association meetings and promote ASCO service solutions and brand.
  • Responsible for Account Rep adherence to all Safety related policies. Ensure Account Rep compliance to safety training course requirements.
  • Work effectively with internal support departments.
  • Communicates regularly with Account Reps to keep informed of opportunities and market conditions.
  • Communicates regularly with service management to keep informed of regional or national opportunities and market conditions.
  • Maintain close working relationship with local ASCO Power Area and Regional sales management to maximize business opportunities and customer service.
  • Make technical product & service presentations at professional meetings and to customer prospects.
  • Plans and develops process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and encourage adherence to organizational goals including all Hoshin objectives.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • BS Technical degree or Marketing, Business Management
  • ASCO sales experience preferred
  • 10 years applicable industry sales experience
  • Prior direct experience leading a sales team is required

Computer Skills:
  • Must have strong capabilities with using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe applications. Familiarity with JDE, Clearview and bFO preferred.
