For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $156,000 - $234,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric is seeking a candidate for the Regional Sales Manager - Power & Grid for the Central Region.
This key position will be responsible for developing and managing to a thorough strategic plan for the United States. The Sales Manager will be accountable for driving sustained revenue and profitable growth in the United States. He/she will plan and execute sales objectives and direct sale operations and sales staff. This leader will serve as the primary communication point for the Company's marketing and sales programs and be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting. He/she will reside in the Western United States.
GROWTH
- Achieve sales targets and sustained revenue growth in region.
- Manage the strategic plan to maximize lead generation, pipeline growth, and sales opportunities. Elements include:
- Identification of key accounts in territory, understand local market conditions and customer needs to drive results.
- Develop a clear and stated plan on how business development activity in the territory will take place.
- Defined plan on what strategies will be deployed to grow new business in the territory.
- Develop staffing plan for the territory to execute all stated strategies.
- Key Vertical Market Analysis for the territory & execution plan to grow market share
- Competitive Analysis: understanding of all key competitors active in the territory, key partners, sales channels, pricing models, sales channels, pricing models, promotional strategies, etc.

- Identify and contract with the best-in-class sales channel partners.
- Develop a strong relationship with the rest of Power and Grid segment
- Develop a strong relationship with the rest of Digital Power
- Work closely with sales partners to track performance
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with sales personnel, etc.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing on all marketing activities, road shows, local/national Trade shows, factory visits, promotions, and marketing programs.
- Communicate and implement all sales and marketing programs.
- Complete required reports on schedule.
- Follow Company procedures and policies.
- Have a digital mindset around software, services & analytics
- Manage expenses according to monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
- Manage escalation around sales and operations
People Management
- Assure high level of people management. In an on-going way, analyze and define action plan to reinforce people management.
- Develop people through coaching and training.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE
Experience: A minimum of 10 years' progressive sales or channel management experience (managing teams of sales professionals) working with strategic customers in electrical distribution or adjacent industries.

- Establishes an environment and foundation for sustainable future sales growth. Sells and coaches subordinates how to sell value and solutions to customers/prospects.
- Strong technical acumen and demonstrate good knowledge in selling complex technologies/systems.
- Minimum of BS/BA degree preferred or technical discipline. Advance degree a plus but not required.
- Ability to travel minimum of 40%.
