Regional Freight Audit and Pay Transformation Expert

Job Summary

We are looking for a Regional FAP Transformation Analyst that will be responsible to improve our FAP process in US and CA working together with Transport Operations, Carriers and our 3rd party vendor CASS.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Verification: Review freight invoices for accuracy, ensuring they match contracts and agreements.

o Ensure all invoices are paid according to establish pay terms.

o Improve audit process between CASS and FAP team.

o Release invoices from Shipper Resolution

• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between billed amounts and contracted rates.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in freight auditing and payment procedures.

• Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

o To provide visibility to Finance team about carrier expense.

o Work together with transportation operation and Finance as needed.

• Carriers follow up:

o Review and request Statement Of Accounts (SOA) from our carriers

o To schedule meetings with carrier to review SOA

o Follow up KPI of audit process and define actions needed for improvements.

o Work together with carrier to ensure all invoices are upload in the same month of the service.

o Main point of contact for carriers regarding FAP

o Elaborate root cause analysis of issues / pending invoices to be paid

• Support and lead specific projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years in Transportation Management and Freight Audit and Pay

• Languages: Advanced proficiency in English, fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Skills Required

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze freight invoices and identify discrepancies.

• Supply Chain / FAP Tools: Familiarity ERP systems (SAP & Oracle) and CASS

• Visibility Tools: Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI, Excel.
