Schneider Electric is developing its innovative asset performance management solution. The solution includes the collection and structuring of customer data, the calculation of an asset condition index, a restitution in the customer information system and a complete risk risk assessment framework allowing assets monitoring and optimization of the maintenance plan.

The solution

- a core backend common to all customers, data-oriented, developed in Python
- a data-visualization frontend module based on the latest web technologies, React based.
- various connectors to interface the customer's systems into its information system. Developed on request by the support team, and the development team according to the specificities of the customer system.

Frontend React Developer

As a React Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of modern web applications, focusing on building intuitive user interfaces using React.js. This role will require expertise in TypeScript and GraphQL to interact with backend services efficiently. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.

Responsibilities

1. Develop user-facing features using React.js and TypeScript.
2. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
3. Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
4. Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL APIs to fetch and update data efficiently.
5. Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
6. Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers.
7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and propose solutions.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices.
10. Contribute to architectural decisions and overall product design discussions.

Requirements:

  1. Proficient in React.js and its core principles.
  2. Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications.
  3. Experience working with GraphQL for fetching and updating data.
  4. Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
  5. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  6. Ability to write clean, well-organized, and maintainable code.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with GraphQL client libraries such as Apollo Client.
  2. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  3. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme.
  4. Previous experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express.js).
  5. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
  6. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  7. Contribution to open-source projects or personal projects demonstrating frontend development skills.
