The 3Phase business as part of Data Center Systems LOB is facing a significant and sustainable growth. The DCS team is expanding in India to meet the business growth demand and has established a state-of-the-art high power 3Phase R&D lab in Bangalore.

To achieve this, Reliability Engineers are integrated into the development teams, providing support to ensure compliance with corporate product development methodologies, processes, and tools. This collaboration ensures that our designs are safe, compliant, reliable, and robust.

The Reliability Engineer brings extensive expertise in R&D and product development, acting as a bridge between customer expectations, represented by the Product Owner, and the quality of the design, represented by the Quality function.

As a key partner to the R&D Lead and responsible for achieving the product's reliability performance, the Reliability Engineer ensures that the following activities are carried out, all while promoting continuous improvement in the Reliability process:

Adapt or detail corporate quality control rules for DCS 3Ph deployment.

Lead or support to make quality control rules deployment plan.

Train designers on quality control methodologies, processes, and tools.

Coach designers to comply with quality control processes.

Involved in product development deliveries review.

Contribute to quality control improvement.

As a member of the senior engineering team in product development, the Reliability Engineer contributes in-depth knowledge and expertise in Offer Safety Processes and essential quality tools, including fishbone diagrams, 8D, FMEAs, Fault Tree Analysis, and reliability analytics and calculations. This expertise is backed by proven experience in delivering products to the field within a quality-controlled environment.

Qualifications

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or quality control.

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in global companies

Required Key Skills & Experience

• Strong technical understanding of power electronics systems and product engineering

• Working experience in systems or large products

• Significant experience in new product development, quality management, and/or new process deployment.

• Knowledge of power products such as UPS is a plus.

• Strong communication and Leadership skills

• Strong experience in engineering design deliverables DFM, DFMEA, FTA and other design practices for safety and reliability, DFSR, DFR, CTQ quality parameters analysis etc

• Relevant experience and demonstrated skills on continuous quality improvements by design/ detection/ corrective measures.

• Six sigma or other quality certification is a plus.
