The role of Quality Manager for our US Services Modernization (EcoFit) plants is located at Schneider Electric's West Chester, Ohio facility and presents a unique opportunity to drive customer satisfaction initiatives at a global leader in energy management. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing action plans to continuously enhance quality, allocating resources to optimize manufacturing processes, advising management on quality matters, and leading quality improvements. Additionally, you will monitor production, identify root causes of defects, and engage employees at all levels to gather feedback on business systems.

Successful candidates for this role will possess strong leadership and people management skills, advanced knowledge of quality management principles, experience in improving manufacturing systems and processes, the ability to analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and proficiency in implementing operational techniques like Lean and Six Sigma.

What will you do:


  • Oversee the quality program for 2 engineered-to-order manufacturing sites
  • Develop and implement action plans to continuously enhance quality
  • Allocate resources and establish standards to optimize manufacturing testing processes
  • Advise management on quality matters and lead quality improvements, connecting the relevant quality programs and methods ( 8D, Lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement)
  • Monitor production and identify root causes of defects
  • Connect the relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement
  • Manage the Quality Management System (IMS) of the entity
  • Engage employees at all levels to gather feedback on business systems
  • Animate the extended US Services network to provide quality trainings and support

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of quality management principles
  • Experience improving manufacturing systems and processes
  • Ability to analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Skilled at implementing operational techniques like Lean and Six Sigma and quality fundamentals like PFMEA, IMS, and ISO
