We are looking for a skilled Quality Test Inspector to join our team at Schneider Electric.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our low and medium voltage products through rigorous testing and collaboration with engineering teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Test Schneider Electric products, including switchgears, switchboards, panel boards, breakers, and motor control centers (MCCs).
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve issues in electrical drawings.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Maintain the repair and calibration database, ensuring accurate job entries and record maintenance, along with associated paperwork and time tracking.

• Prepare detailed service and failure records and assist Quality with root cause analysis.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering; P.Eng. or CET designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of low and medium voltage equipment.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical testing, including the use of High Pot test sets, current injectors, Megger insulation resistance meters, multimeters, relay test sets, and corona test sets.
• Experience in validating and correcting existing technical documents, including test procedures.
• Ability to manage technical tasks with minimal supervision and effectively handle technical information and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schematics.
• Proficient in computer and digital technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) to convey technical findings and issues to relevant parties.
• Strong organizational skills.

Safety, Health, and Environmental Responsibilities:
• Attend 100% of mandatory safety training arranged by the HSE Department.
• Maintain and wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in good condition.
• Report all hazards, incidents, and accidents immediately to your supervisor or manager.
• Comply with all provincial health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
