For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640- $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position will work with manufacturing and engineering personnel to assure product and quality management system integrity to customer, corporate, regulatory, and statutory requirements. They work on continuous improvement of quality management system and quality system objectives with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction

What will you do?
  • Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and Purchasing overview
  • Assures processes required for quality management systems are maintained and conducted free of compromise.
  • Manages and maintains test case procedures and implements automated testing processes when possible.
  • Identifies issues with production-related processes and recommends areas for improvement.
  • Promotes customer awareness throughout the organization.
  • Works directly with customers and suppliers to resolve product and system integrity issues.
  • Authority and responsibility to disposition nonconforming product.
  • Internal auditing of Quality Management Systems
  • Product Integrity auditing
  • Document Control and Management
  • Coordinates Peer and Third-Party audits of Motivair quality management systems.
  • Reviews flow down of general customer, corporate, OEM, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintains metrics of quality management systems they are responsible for and communicate performance and effectiveness to organization as applicable.
  • Follow up corrective action activities to assure timely closure effectiveness.
  • Audits Motivair work instructions for alignment with customer requirements and operator comprehension
  • Participates with manufacturing and engineering resources to determine root cause and implement corrective actions for escapes and product integrity failures.
  • Completes continuous Improvement activities of Motivair quality management systems
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.


What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Demonstrated ability to take project from design concept to final production.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).
  • Proficiency in using various testing and measurement equipment for electro-mechanical products. Experience in conducting performance or reliability testing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, continuous improvement, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of technical writing
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in lean operations including problem solving techniques; Root Cause - 5 Why, DFMEA, Lean 6s
  • Proven history of analyzing data and statistics to improve industrial processes.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to write detailed work instructions, reports, business correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and/or external sources.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • B.S. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly sit for extended periods; stand talk and hear in person and by telephone; and use hands to operate, finger, handle and feel office equipment and documentation; and reach with hands and arms. Hands and fingers frequently perform repetitive motion. Occasionally the employee will use arms and hands to balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, stoop or bend and lift up to 25 pounds. This position requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
