We are a looking for QA/QC Engineer (Contract) to make an impact! In this role, you will be accountable to build and drive the quality processes, execution and teams for its Data Centre projects in APAC. You will work closely with the project sponsors and project management team to define the project objectives, create a plan for executing those objectives. Dependant on the systems demand, the role will include working on multiple projects or directly on a single specific project in APAC.

What will you do?
- Ensure Quality-related activities on the Project are compliance to Corporate, Project, and other applicable Regulatory requirements.
- Implement BIM360 QA/QC dashboards to show overall KPI metrics and status, and manage documentation tracking, distribution and submission through various collaboration tools.
- Generate Project high-level Plans/Guidelines to provide roadmap for key Quality related activities.
- Ensure knowledge transfer / lessons learnt of execution issues to local customer & SE teams. Ensure compliance to overall program.
- Ensure adequate and suitably qualified Quality team resources are available to support Project Quality requirements.
- Involve in Project Review in conjunction with Engineering/Construction phases of the Project and ensure appropriate closure of observations/issues raised from review, generation of final review closeout report.
- Ensure Project SOP's/Plans/Guidelines are appropriately authorized for implementation and adequate training provided.
- Develop, implement and manage an effective Audit Schedule focusing on the key work processes, and design activities undertaken during the project lifespan.
- Review and approve Quality Records/Reports, Engineering Drawings, Change Notices/Design Modifications, Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans, etc.
- Conduct and maintain training program for relevant project personnel for Project SOP's/GDP/GEP applications.
- Continually identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
- Implement systematic documentation turnover system for all Project Quality related documentation.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the Project walk down teams.
- Plan, prepare, review and execute project system walk down packs to transfer punch items into Master Punch list database (BIM360), approval and issuance of Construction Completion Certificate.
- Provide support and advice on Quality-related issues and resolution of engineering-related disputes.
- Responsible for any other related QAQC matters as requested by management.
- Be seen as the trusted advisor for our customer.
What qualifications will make you successful?
In this role practical experience will carry a high weighting than formal qualifications: -
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any other related discipline from recognized university.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls / Automation industry.
- Has an excellent working knowledge of the technical and operational environment in which the project deliverables are created and in which they are used.
- Must be an excellent communicator at all levels both internal and external in the project environment, be proactive and exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and geographically disbursed environment.
- Position is to be base at client's site.
- Able to commit to the full duration of the contract
