For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a remote position as a Project Scheduler.

Technical Responsibilities

• Document creation and management for planning, developing, managing, executing, and controlling the project schedule

• Define project activities or work breakdown structure (WBS) by identifying and documenting the specific actions to be performed to produce the project deliverables

• Sequence the project activities by identifying and documenting relationships among the activities

• Establish the resources required for each activity in terms of type and quantities for resources such as material, human, equipment, and supplies

• Establish the number of work units needed to complete individual activities with the estimated resources

• Analyze activity sequences, durations, resource requirements, and schedule constraints to create both effort and duration driven project schedules

• Monitor the status of project activities to update project progress and manage changes to the schedule baseline to achieve the plan

• Jointly or independently develop an Execution Strategy Outline under the direction of the Project Manager

• Create project plans, including Network diagrams and Critical Path using Primavera or Microsoft Project

• Establish an operational understanding of the Customer Project Process (CPP)

• Develop and track the project cost basis; creating planned cost, tracking actual costs, and establishing estimates to complete.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall planning and scheduling activities on projects by interfacing with different project disciplines, project management, and clients to ensure accurate engineering, procurement, and construction data is reflected in the schedules

• Lead interactive sessions with project team monitor/review/analyze/adjust project schedule for report generation and distribution during all project phases

• Attend weekly client reporting meetings discussing/presenting status/progress/variances and corrective actions

• Prepare and submit monthly reports per clients reporting requirements such as S-Curves and Earned Value Reporting

• Create various schedule filters for look forward reporting including variance and analysis

• Perform manpower resources loading for assigned schedules and prepares histograms and other charts, as required

• Work with Project Controls and Project Management relative to monthly cost reporting

• Manage project schedules, analyze schedule variations, and evaluate project trends and schedule forecast providing recommendation to align current schedule to baseline

• 2-year associates, 4-year bachelor's degree, or equivalent work

• Demonstrated experience necessary to perform the responsibilities.

• Thorough knowledge of Primavera P6/Microsoft Project and MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting

• Strong communication and influencing skills both verbal and written.

• Quality focused with strong attention to detail while being able to maintain a 'whole project' perspective.

• Thorough understanding of Industrial projects with engineering, procurement, and construction execution content

• Superior organizational and planning abilities

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
