Project Manager - LV and MV Projects
Location: Warrington / Telford, UK
Schneider Electric is hiring a skilled Project Manager to lead the execution of customer projects in Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) systems. This role focuses on end-to-end project management to ensure seamless delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards. You will handle all phases of project execution, including design, planning, purchasing, contracting, and on-site coordination, with accountability for project outcomes and alignment with contract terms.
Your Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution : Oversee LV and MV project tasks, ensuring all activities align with scope, specifications, and project deliverables from initiation through completion.
- Contract Management : Manage project contract ensuring fulfilment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights
- Financial Accountability : Take ownership of project profitability (cost, cash flow, and margin). Track and forecast financial metrics, manage costs, and optimise revenue recognition. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely recovery of customer receivables.
- Budget Control : Track project progress and spending against budget, aiming for improvements in gross margin. Conduct systematic budget reviews to identify potential efficiencies.
- Risk Management : Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues. Engage with Sales for claim management and variation orders as needed.
- Safety Compliance : Implement Schneider Electric's safety protocols across all project phases, including coordination with subcontractors and partners on-site to maintain safety standards.
- Customer Relationship Management : Serve as the main contact point for customers, handling all communications and ensuring project execution aligns with customer expectations. Conduct regular check-ins to monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, and address any issues that arise.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead post-project reviews, incorporating feedback to improve future project performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Weekend Cover : Participate in the call-out rota for weekend coverage, providing project continuity as needed.

About You:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (Engineering or Business) or with equivalent experience.
- Proven project management experience, especially in LV and MV systems, with a strong focus on on-site logistics and safety.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, MS Excel) and able to manage detailed project documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build customer relationships and work collaboratively with Sales teams on change management.
- Independent and able to follow through on commitments with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional language skills are advantageous.
- Possess a full, clean driving license
