Mission:

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO team responsible driving complex change initiatives within our organisation to simplify the life of our customers and our people. This is a hybrid role meaning you will split your time between home, our Telford office and other sites as required.

Your role will be to lead and deliver various types and sized projects across the UK and Ireland supporting our people, finance, customer operations and commercial business teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering change across a business, always with the customer in mind. You'll be outcome focused with the ability to build strong and lasting stakeholder relationships ensuring that your projects are on the right path to deliver the desired results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead & manage the project from initiation phase through to project close and handover to end user
  • Work with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to identify project benefits and track benefits realisation
  • Develop and implement a management plan for the project
  • Lead and motivate the project delivery team
  • Manage risks and associated mitigation plans, issues and changes
  • Monitor progress against plan, and take appropriate action if required
  • Manage the project budget and key performance indicators
  • Responsible for arranging all key decision gate reviews in line with the SE project delivery framework
  • Manage all project communications with the team, stakeholders, sponsor and project Steering Committee
  • Manage the interface between Schneider Electric Digital organisation, 3rd party developers and the project team
  • Assume ownership of the coordination of resources, both within the PMO and wider business to ensure a successful project deployment
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders

Skills and Attributes:
  • Mastery of project management and other software tools (MS Excel, MS Project, Teams)
  • You have an engineering, project management or related degree (Prince2, MSP or other project management accreditation would be beneficial)
  • You will have around 3 - 5 years of project management experience and be able to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering technical or complex change management projects (SAP, SalesForce.com, etc would be beneficial)
  • Comfortable and experienced in utilising either waterfall and/or agile project management methodologies
  • You have excellent communication skills and are able to influence your key stakeholders
