Project Manager

We are looking for Project Manager to join our Digital Power Application Centre team in Doha, Qatar.

  • Coordinate internal as well as external resources for the proper execution of projects
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget as per the contract conditions
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all concerned stakeholers and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Follow up & manage contract negotiations in cooperation with contract management & sales teams
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Prepare project financial reports and present to management
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Drive new opportunities & Variation orders during project execution
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Maintain good relations with the customer & company staff and to provide their satisfaction while protecting SE's rights as per contract and as per long term commitment for customer satisfaction
  • To utilize company's monitoring tools to follow-up and monitor projects

  • University degree in Electrical/Computer or Software Engineering
  • PMP Certified.
  • Master Degree is an advantage.
  • 8- 10 years related work experience,minimum 3 years as Project Manager
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English; Arabic and French are asset.
  • Experience in Automation and Protection Systems in Utilities and/or Oil &Gas, Protection and Control Relays/Schemes.
  • Substation Automation Systems EPMS/BMS solution projects PLC,SCADA, RTU & DCS - Advantage)
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in MS poject
  • Good user of SAP
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications
  • Effective communications skills
  • Well organized, result oriented, pro-active & a good team player
  • Driving License - is mandatory
  • Strong motivation and interest in learning new technologies, working on projects and travellig on the frequent business trips to customers.
