The Opportunity
Our Services team are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be based in Melbourne.
This hands-on role will see you driving the successful delivery of varied projects that meet Customer needs and contributes to our ongoing success as we deliver technical solutions across markets that are calling for our expertise.
As an experienced Project Engineer who has successfully supported the delivery of similar projects, you will play a central hands-on role within a section of our business that is experiencing an exciting time of sustained growth. Leveraging your diverse skills and passion for projects, you will enjoy this newly created role and support a market that is full of opportunity.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Execute varied projects from inception to completion; UPS, Cooling, Circuit Breakers, Switchgear, LV/MV and a variety of niche projects
- Proactively collaborating with passionate technical specialists as you work together to ensure project objectives are met
- Utilise your project management skills to coordinate key activities and related deliverables
- Leverage your professional knowledge to provide technical input to support project outcomes and the provision of technical solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
- Prepare and present project reports, documentation and support other technical requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Electrical discipline coupled with proven experience in a similar Project Engineer position
- Proven project management capabilities and success in delivering similar Electrical projects
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in relevant areas; UPS, cooling, batteries, LV, MV, HV, circuit breakers, and Switchgear
- Ability to collaborate with varied stakeholder groups to make an Impact and achieve outcomes
- Intermediate IT skills, proficient in relevant PM tools and related software / platforms
- Those with additional Postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably (e.g. Project Management etc.)
