Customer Project Engineer

Position: Customer Project Engineer
Location: Dunavecse (90 km from Budapest)
Your Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and execute Engineering To Order customer projects from tender transfer to project close-out, focusing on gross margin, customer satisfaction, and risk management.
- Technical Decisions: Review technical specifications and make decisions based on customer feedback.
- Project Monitoring: Track and control project progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Risk Management: Assess, identify, mitigate, and control potential risks and opportunities that could impact project performance.
- Margin Control: Monitor and control project margin deviations during execution.
- Variation Orders: Manage variation orders and claims for both customers and main suppliers.
- Customer Relations: Maintain a positive relationship with the customer through regular communication (emails, calls, meetings).
- Factory Acceptance Tests: Manage factory acceptance tests.
- Engineering degree
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Risk estimation skills
- High-level communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and result-oriented mindset
