  • Project Application Engineer provides pre-project, project and post-project engineering services for one or more projects. Provides consultation to prospective users;
  • Interpret customer technical specifications and generate strategies for implementation in production;
  • Work with customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements;
  • Work from process and instrumentation drawings to design applications and control strategies;
  • Develop software and system configuration, control application, human machine interface or safety control application;
  • Prepare test, product and project documentation;
  • Participate in customer acceptance tests;
  • Work on-site engineering, start-up and application commissioning;
  • Increase project margins by minimizing re-work and complying with Schneider Electric' technical engineering processes and quality standards;
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area;
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of products and applications via active collaboration with different stakeholders;

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Relevant Experience 1+ years in the field of indstrial automation, position is also suitable for fresh graduates
  • Master's degree in engineering, IT, applied informatics or automation
  • SW Knowledge: OS Windows, OS Unix/Linux, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Access, One of SQL database, One of CAD SW
  • One of programming languages (VB, C#, C/C++, Shell scripting, etc.)
  • Familiar with one of control software PLC, DCS, ESD
  • Theory of automation; Practice in Control loop stability and tuning;

Other Competencies
  • Flexibility for working on projects and travelling on frequent business trips to customers;
  • High commitment to work, proactive approach;
  • Customer approach, team spirit and good communication and presentation skills;
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English; German/French is a plus
  • Valid driving license (Category B)
