We are looking for a Program Manager for our Apodaca site, who wants to develop a strong and solid career on localization and project management. Program manager has the opportunity to develop with us and become a project manager, as well as to be certify as a Project Manager Professional (PMP), a Localization Parts Manager or a Procurement Buyer.
As a Localization Program manager, you will be leading through project management practices and tools, the evolution of challenging cost reduction ideas, including (but not limited) to LOCALIZATION (project to localize up to 4000 references in NAM or in a low-cost country), QVE (quality value engineering) and COS (change of supplier) projects within North American Strategic Projects Team.

The Localization program manager is in charge to establish for references a deployment action plan for each components. Leading of cost break-down analysis, manufacturing process, process feasibility with the supplier, ensuring technical project feasibility, and consolidating all this information into a formal folder for each parts.
The Localization Program manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the project environment, as he/she will be in charge to present recurrently to Senior Managers, directors and VPs. He/she need to be proactive, exhibit strong leadership, be a self-driven person, and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically disbursed project environment..
The Localization program manager gets a wide range of experience working on several products and several commodities as the scope they manage is all North America's business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Lead the evolution of Parts Localization into the business priorities defined with the management.
• Ensure accurate estimation of benefits (savings) and technical feasibility.
• Work together with the regional commodity manager to make a correct supplier selection, in alignment with their strategies (SOC)
• Work together CE (continuous engineering team) for any request or information requested by the supplier
• Lead quoting process with a wide range of suppliers on different commodities for example Plastics, Casting, Sheet Metal, Fasteners, Packaging, Raw Material etc.
• Analyze and define the targeted prices after receiving quotations into the Cost Model
• Establish and ensure technical feasibility of project with the supplier
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
- Advanced English - business proficient (written and oral)
- Around 2 to 4 years proven experience working in Project Management and/or Procurement and/or Supply chain.
- Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via Influence and great communications skills
- Knowledge on part designs and tolerances
- Skills on raw material, as well on additional processes like: heat treatment or surface treatment
- Seeks solutions beyond his/her own frame of reference
- Availability to travel Internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa) - 15%
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience working in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain areas
- Basic knowledge interpretation of engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), cost modeling, inventory volumes
- Experience handling ambiguity and multiples conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
