The Product Owner plays a key role in the global organization, delivering value to their customers while maintaining a clear view on customer needs and their business objectives. Product Owners represent the customer; they act autonomously to communicate the vision of the product while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders (customers / commercial / plant / internal sponsors). They partner with League Leaders to set priorities (define, own and maintain the backlog), and drive the strategic intent of the product. They create a conducive and collaborative environment through effective leadership.
The EcoCare Data Center Product Owner owns the overall system vision for their customers (Cloud & Service segment providers); the Product Owner helps determine customer services needs that will allow the customer to meet their growth ambitions and achieve their sustainability goals.

The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the system level offer to fit to future customer requirements; they will do so by leveraging Schneider's innovative digital roadmap and AI capabilities.
Product Owners regularly interact with the scrum team (Agile team) and act as the voice of their customers and stakeholders.
Job's Responsibilities
- Define value proposition & set offer strategies in alignment with League vision
- Spend time with C&SP customers & stakeholders (specifically Data Center segment team) to identify value drivers
- Understand: customer values, applications, respective market trends, and their go to market strategies
- Gather and analyze customer's needs by meeting customers and collaborating regularly with business stakeholders
- Evaluate, mold and drive the strategic value of the offer
- Define and validate the offer value propositions (UVP, business models, go to market)
- Understand technical trends to identify valuable innovations in the product environment
- Lead and contribute to the customer engagement strategy
- Collaborate with pricing team and the offer design leaders, ensuring offers are priced following value-based principles
Prioritize & communicate the team's backlog; then, establish release map & roadmap
- Challenge and evaluate requests (from business, quality,...)
- Periodically review critical quality issues and associated mitigation plans
- Communicate backlog refinement
- Streamline the execution of priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the product
Build the release plan and global roadmap according to technology, feasibility, budget, resources
- Communicate the product roadmap to all stakeholders
- Periodically review customers demo feedback to assess new needs
- Periodically review with internal stakeholders (including management agreement)
Define the sprint strategy and achievement criteria. Take accountability in sharing outcomes with stakeholders:
- Organize iterative deliverables for each sprint based on release objectives
- Ensure team understands and refines backlog items before committing to them
- Ensure sprint objectives contribute to value for customer (backlog) and product/process robustness
- Define and update achievement criteria
- Guide the Squad to set realistic (but ambitious) sprint objectives i.s. set and manage squad velocity
Support the Squad to deliver on sprints & act as obstacle troubleshooter--be the voice of the customer for the squad's questions
- Support the squad on all obstacles (including capacity issues)
- Periodic analysis of the product cost
- Define the best trade-offs between all parameters (e.g. : Squad budget, schedule, product cost and business stake, quality, time to market, innovation)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of product development experience, or 5 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience working with Data Center customers
- Experience presenting to customers & their leaders, and experience in saying 'No' when required
- Experience in successfully building and leading teams in a matrix environment.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
