For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric's Digital Grid Business (DG) is offering an outstanding opportunity for an individual who is motivated, dedicated, and organized to assume the global role of Product Operations Leader. Digital Grid provides enterprise software solutions and services to help utilities manage the entire lifecycle of the grid and enable Grids of the Future. These solutions are mission critical, enabling grid operators around the world to deliver safe and reliable power.
The Product Operations Leader will report to Digital Grid's CPO and will play a pivotal role in scaling Schneider Electric's Digital Grid's growth as it transitions to software-oriented business models and delivery mechanisms. Responsibilities will include enhancing product development processes, ensuring efficient cross-functional collaboration, and driving sustained execution of product strategies.
This position involves fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment within the product management team and across other relevant departments. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a strong understanding of both software product development and the unique requirements of utility companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product managers to ensure that product development processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Streamline communication and coordination among cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Lead the implementation and improvement of product operations tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall product development and delivery.
- Use process and measurement to enhance the execution of product strategies, including feature prioritization, release planning, and post-launch performance.
- Act as a bridge between the product management team and other departments, such as sales, customer support, and finance, to facilitate smooth product launches and ongoing operational support.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of best practices for product operations within the organization.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the software solutions provided to utility companies, as well as the specific needs and pain points of the utility industry.
- Benchmark key operational practices from broader software industries and integrate best practices where relevant.
- Proven experience in product operations, preferably within the software industry and specifically for utility companies.
- Strong understanding of product management processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
