NAM Product Manager - Transformers
Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Transformers League in Power Products' NAM Hub, and end-to-end business responsible for all aspects of the Transformers product lines. The three product lines are cross into Buildings, Industry, and OEM segments. The Product Manager will be reporting to the League Leader, and support market share and revenue growth actions.
As the Product Manager for Transformers, you will work with cross-functional teams in US, Canada, and Mexico from the product management, product marketing, specifier marketing, digital marketing, design engineering and sales organizations. Responsibilities Include:
• Lead go-to-market and country - launch activities, including VOC, solution creation (e.g., Brand Labeling, in-house build), and channel/customer relationship management or development
• Market Segmentation: Work with Product Owners and commercial teams on key products to assess and monitor profitability & growth for certain segments/areas and develop an actionable plan to drive profitable growth in identified segments.
• Digital Marketing: Assist in updating brochures and/or web media to modernize and promote offer collateral. Work with League's marketing, Marcom team, Country Marketing, and Product Owner to manage the project to enhance marketability through digital channels
• Pricing Excellence: collaborate with finance & pricing teams to evaluate pricing by product line and create a review process to evaluate pricing team's performance monthly. Provide guidance and oversight & deliver agreed upon margin expansion targets
• Voice of Customer: gather and analyze customer feedback through surveys, reviews, and interactions to identify trends and customer needs, and inform product improvements to ensure customer satisfaction
• Market Analysis: analyze key market areas and assist in putting together a competitive profile for go-to-market strategy discussions. Up to and including making recommendations for which market areas to focus on and/or which offer gaps exist
• Work with product marketing to help audit and organize product assets to improve specifications and digital customer experience
• Launch and promote new digital tools and software
Qualifications
• BS in Engineering, Business Science, or Engineering Management, or Science degree OR Marketing with a Technical/Engineering aptitude
• At least 4 years experience in Product Management, Sales, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Transformers and/or electrical equipment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
