Procurement - Risk & Resilience Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate an operational risk radar, ensuring that, for suppliers, risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated. Use the 9 boxes matrix to ensure proper animation and execution with the categories, plants and Business. Actively facilitate, review, and challenge the Risk and Control Self Assessments conducted by key stakeholders, guaranteeing that all risks arising from suppliers are effectively identified, monitored, and mitigated
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in alignment with categories to safeguard the procurement function and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to enhance the resilience of the supply chain and ensure business continuity.
  • Act as a risk and compliance advocate, influencing and managing stakeholder relationships whilst providing expert advice and information.
  • Analyze for the most critical products ranges the resilience of the supply chain, identify areas of improvement at parts level, build 9 boxes matrix at parts level and animate execution, with industrial deployment.
  • Direct and coordinate the delivery of regular risk analysis reports to the Director and Senior Executives, complete with actionable plans for avoidance or prevention of possible threats at all levels.
  • Overall, develop culture of risks within GSC Europe Procurement
  • Derisk each year at suppliers & parts level by Leveraging Resilinc tool.
  • Engage with the Procurement teams to integrate risk and resilience considerations into procurement strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Management to ensure alignment of risk and resilience strategies across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure procurement activities adhere to regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Liaise with Business Continuity Management to integrate procurement-specific continuity plans into the broader business resilience framework.

Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
-Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or risk management, preferably in a managerial or strategic role to build credibility and trust

-Cross functional management skills across procurement, GSC Europe, Business
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and mitigate complex risks.
-Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, as well as a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.
-Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders from MPL up to SVP
-Ability to handle short term and long term priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
