Position Summary

• Lead and execute Circuit Breaker MCCB/ACB projects

• Leads the Engineering project teams and the different technologies for the development of new Offers or the evolution of existing Offers

• As part of a new product project and/or product design evolution, takes responsibility for management of a Electromechanics/ Electrotechnology dedicated technical team and technology:

o Produces the technical specifications

o guarantees performance and robustness

o accountable for engineering quality and contributes to cost targets

o prepares manufacturing with Industrialization / manufacturing implementation teams

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure performance, robustness, and engineering quality while meeting cost targets

• Support technical decisions and risk management at the SQUAD level

• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Plants during project execution

• Validate bills of materials and CAD drawings against technical specifications

• Conduct engineering analysis for performance, quality, and compliance with standards

• Create and execute verification & validation plans and analyze results

• Mentor and coach senior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing

• Design offers based on customer expectations while respecting supply chain constraints

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or related field or equivalent expertise in electromechanical design in electrical distribution products

• At least 8+ years of relevant experience in electromechanical mass production industries

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies

• Deep knowledge of circuit breaker products, theory, and application

• Experience in electrical product testing and evaluation methods (UL/ CSA/NOM/ IEC/ CCC/ ANSI)

• AGILE Methodology knowledge and experience - SCRUM

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

• 3D CAD Modeling

• Travel required ~20% - Travel in NAM and International

• Interpersonal skills (ability to interact with other functions, North America and overseas)

Preferences

• Knowledge of CAE (Ex, Structural, Thermal, Kinematics, etc)

• Metal stamping, thermoset and thermoplastic molding processes

• Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly techniques
