Job Description: Lead, execute, and deliver chemical and refining engineering simulation projects, including project management and scheduling, for Oil and Gas industry. Work with different teams to coordinate various aspects in a project lifetime from software support to customer interfacing. Join in on sales calls and meetings and demonstrate the company's products capabilities. Deliver and install the company's systems. Interface with the client, senior managers, project managers, and lead a team of junior engineers as well as interface with a variety of senior content specialists. Plan and conduct a variety of meetings such as internal kickoff, client kickoff, regular project reviews, status meetings, model acceptance tests, factory acceptance tests, and site acceptance tests. Develop chemical engineering functional specifications, project schedules, execution plans, work packages, testing plans, and project documentation. Enforce industry standard quality management procedures. Position eligible for up to 2 days remote work per week.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's related experience (3 years with Bachelor's or 1 years with Master's) is required in dynamic simulation of chemical and refining processes or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Utilizing AVEVA Dynamic Simulation (ADS) to develop and supervise the development of dynamic models of chemical or refining process plants; Utilizing AVEVA PRO/II and AVEVA Process Simulation (APS) to develop and supervise the development of steady state models of chemical or refining process plants; Calculating temporal differential equations and solution methodologies; Utilizing Chemical and Refining Process Technology: unit operations including drums, separators, heat exchangers, compressors, turbines, distillation columns, dryers, absorbers, evaporators, reactors, and reading and interpreting process flow drawings; Calculating and implementing constants for conversion, rate based, equilibrium, and Gibbs free energy reactions; Utilizing and applying various Thermodynamics equations of state and fitted correlations; Reading and interpreting process control diagrams, regulatory control, advanced process control, safety systems, sequence systems, and PLC's; Utilizing and interfacing with distributed control systems and HMI's; Reading P&IDs, PFDs Cause and Effect diagrams; and Using Operating manuals, Control Logic, SIS functionality, Shutdown Keys and Startup/Shutdown procedures.
