We are looking for a highly skilled EAE System & Architecture Expert to join our team as a Training Specialist. This exciting role involves extensive travel (70% of the time) to provide comprehensive training on EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) to system integrators, distributors, and end users. You will develop and deliver training programs that showcase EAE features and functionalities, support customer projects, and ensure successful implementation of EAE solutions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Deliver Training: Create and conduct comprehensive training programs on EAE for system integrators, distributors, and end users.
  • Extensive Travel: Travel extensively (70% of the time) to conduct on-site training sessions and workshops.
  • Demonstrate EAE Features: Showcase EAE features and functionality to assist customers with their applications and projects.
  • Organize Workshops: Lead workshops to promote EAE features, ensuring customers understand how to design, organize, and execute code on EAE.
  • Implement and Test Architectures: Demonstrate capabilities and reduce risks by implementing and testing customer architectures.
  • Develop Key Library Elements: Create key library elements (CATs) to support customer projects and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Guide Implementation: Support customers through the implementation phase and project execution.
  • Provide Feedback: Act as the voice of the customer and the region, providing feedback to the global EAE development team.
  • Support System Integrators: Develop system integrators to become proficient execution partners on EAE.

  1. Demos on EAE:
    • Build and maintain demo areas (HW and SW) in your region.
    • Personalize technical demos to address customer pain points and sub-segment requirements.
    • Handle Q&A sessions and provide relevant examples and references.
  2. Workshops:
    • Host application-specific training sessions.
    • Apply design guidelines to ensure correct project execution.
    • Define code structure, objects, and CATs.
    • Assess challenges and work with the Incubator team to address them.
  3. System Architectures:
    • Design, implement, and test EAE architectures for customer applications.
    • Present outcomes to customers to gain adoption and reduce risks.
  4. Project Execution and Support:
    • Support customers and system integrators in executing EAE projects.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through technical expertise and commercial relationships.
  5. Feedback and Documentation:
    • Document processes and changes during customer engagements.
    • Create use cases and success stories from projects.
    • Share knowledge and best practices.
Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Degree: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or IT Programming.
  • Background: Embedded Software Engineer with a strong IT focus.
  • Proficiency: IIOT and the convergence of IT and OT.
  • Experience: Object-oriented programming, Windows and Linux development environments, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, virtualization, event-driven methodology, C# programming for HMI integration, and cybersecurity (SDL2, IEC62443).
  • Networking: LAN, WAN, VLAN, managed switches, routers, and communication protocols (TCP/IP based Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT).
  • Programming Skills: C/C++, Python, and JavaScript.
  • OT Knowledge: Can be further developed at Schneider.
  • Application: Ability to apply code development and design system/solution architecture for industrial applications.

    • Willing to Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (70% of the time) for training and customer support.
