Power Systems is the specialist in the distribution and management of energy. Our offer supports customers to manage their power, ensuring efficiency and sustainability. We have an exciting opportunity which has arisen within our team for an experienced senior leader to join the UK&I Power Systems Leadership team as Hub Execution Centre Leader. The HEC team is responsible for supporting our customers in a number of ways; providing tenders, project management, technical and site expertise.

As the Hub Execution Centre Leader, you will be accountable for working across the business matrix to ensure we deliver profitable projects for our customers maintaining quality, the safety of our people and aligning with our ethics and compliance obligations.

You will be responsible for leading and developing the team, ensuring they have the correct skills, knowledge and opportunity to perform at a high level. Facilitate an inclusive, diverse and engaging environment where the team can deliver high performance and continue to develop to their full potential

Responsible for ensuring business growth, managing the P&L for the team and associated costs, increasing profitability and ensuring we continue to build solid relationship with our customers and increasing satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate strong business acumen with a sound market knowledge and ability to ensure we deliver projects on time and profitably.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide strong leadership to Hub Execution Team in the UK&I; creating a clear vision for growth and detailed plan for implementation across all aspects of the business
  • Lead a high-performing team of technical and project management professionals.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from proposals and tendering to execution and delivery.
  • Drive profitable growth and ensure strong financial performance for your area.
  • Define and deploy transformation initiatives for more software, more services and more sustainability & customer project governance within your scope
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that leverages the strengths of a diverse team.


Who You Are:

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Project Management
  • A master's degree (MSc) is a plus.


Experience:
  • Previous experience in managerial position, preferably in the Energy sector.
  • Proven track record in leading successful projects or teams.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with multi-cultural and multi-site teams.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the team's budget and profitability, cash flow, and commercial/financial aspects.


Skills:
  • Solid business acumen with a focus on delivering profitable and sustainable solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to communicate with senior level leaders
  • Deep understanding of the customer project lifecycle and the power systems industry.
  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing, multicultural teams.
  • Experience fostering a collaborative environment that embraces diversity.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills across all levels.
  • Agile leadership style with the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic situations.
  • Takes accountability and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


Languages:
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
