Position: Plant Master Data Manager
Place of work: Dunavecse (90 km of Budapest)
Mission:
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, quality, and consistency of data across the systems and processes within your reporting entity, in compliance with safety, data governance & security regulations, data standards and policies.
- Provide data management expertise, drive the entity's data maturity, manage the data Lifecycle from creation through updating until timely deletion.
- Coordinate the local data organization, lead the SPS data card, and optimize data management processes for maximum efficiency.
- Responsible for data quality and offer life cycle in the associated systems.
- Comply with health, safety, security, environmental and energy procedures and rules
Your responsibilities:
- Apply data governance rules, through the maintenance of data quality, consistency and integrity in various systems and processes.
- Apply data standards, policies and optimize procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data, establish these locally, if they are not determined by the corporate organization.
- Provide data management expertise to project teams when a new implementation is required (in terms of information and management systems, processes and tools). Act as project data contact. During transformative projects act as the site Data Expert temporarily, responsibilities are detailed in the Data Expert documentation.
- Lead the Data Maturity Assessment of the site to size the effort and priorities to tackle to Adopt the Global Manufacturing Template Data Model.
- Ensure the update and maintenance of the entity's master data such as equipment records, material specifications, bills of materials and other relevant information reflecting changes in the entity's assets, processes and configurations.
- Ensure the integration of the entity's master data with other systems or applications, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Offer Lifecycle Management (OLM) systems, Manufacturing Executive Systems (MES)... Guarantee smooth data flow and consistency between these systems.
- Ensure the data part of the Offer Lifecycle Management (OLM) process by creating, updating and deleting commercial references and associated components.
- Coordinate the site's data teams to ensure the efficiency of the data process in terms of quality, creation time and updating of data. Provide functional support and training to Data Owners and Key Users in the various business lines.
- Support and approve access to IT systems and applications for creators and/or consumers of data in the entity's information systems.
- After validation, implement solutions to improve the data management process.
- Manage/fulfil other tasks as defined by a manager
- Relational fields:
- Internal relations
- Site data team: functional coordination of the Data Owners and Key Users to ensure the ownership of the data owned by the entity in terms of quality / time of data creation & update.
- Site IT team: collaboration, coordination and support on the subject
- Business Unit functions: collaboration and exchanges on the integration of product data (BOMs, new product creation/product evolution).
- Schneider Digital IT support department: interface with the site for maintenance assistance, modifications and fault management.
- Central functions data management team: support to improve data quality, feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- External relations
- Collaboration with external consultants if needed
- Internal relations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree specializing in data management (IT) and/or general cross-functional knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge in digital; general knowledge of data analysis, database management, data flow design.
- Good command of English language
- Min. 3 years experience in the specific role but may have some general working experience
- ERP system knowledge, SAP knowledge, MS office knowledge
- Knowledge of data lakes, data flows, PIM, PDM, MDG, GMR, etc.
