Plant Master Data Manager
Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for digital transformation and maintaining data integrity? Schneider Electric is seeking a Plant Master Data Manager (PMDM) to take charge of master data management at our manufacturing plant. This role is key to ensuring data quality, compliance, and security while supporting our ongoing digital transformation and key projects.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Digital Transformation: Prepare the plant for ERP implementation, playing a key role in our digital evolution.
- Champion Data Integrity: Ensure the highest standards of data compliance and security, safeguarding the plant's data environment.
- Lead Data Cleansing Efforts: Spearhead material master data cleansing initiatives to maintain accurate and reliable data.
- Manage the Material Master Lifecycle: Oversee the creation, activation, obsolescence, and changes to material master data.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with plant Data Coordinators and Key Users to ensure seamless data processes.
- Develop Talent: Lead training programs for plant master data coordinators and employees to enhance their data management capabilities.
- Monitor Data Quality: Prepare data quality reports, implementing corrective actions to ensure data consistency across ERP, MES, and WMS systems.
- Optimize Inventory Accuracy: Manage the inventory cycle count program to support operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Assess and Improve Data Impact: Evaluate the business impact of poor data quality and proactively initiate solutions to resolve issues.
- Manage Data Governance: Coordinate product/component evolution and change requests, ensuring smooth transitions in the data lifecycle.
- Maintain Data Archiving & Security: Define, manage, and enforce master data management rules and procedures to ensure data is secure and archived appropriately.

What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in materials management, manufacturing, quality, or equivalent roles (PMDA experience is a plus).
- Communication Skills: 2+ years of experience communicating complex data-related topics to non-technical audiences.
- ERP Expertise: Strong SAP/ERP experience is essential for success in this role.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A self-starter with exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred to ensure alignment with plant operations.
Bonus Qualifications (a plus!):
- SQL Skills: 2+ years of experience writing and working with SQL queries.
- Data Management Expertise: 1+ years of experience in data management and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement.
