What will you do?

  • Partner with plant operational leadership to drive Plant Performance
  • Review & ensure accuracy and validity of the financial statements
  • Develop and Implement, in alignment with the Denali and Plant Project Manager and team - Plant Project Controlling processes, procedures - focusing on Order level/Project level statutory insights, variances in actual cost vs planned cost, inventory implications at order level and other Order level controlling insights in support of statutory controlling efforts and E2E Power Systems ETO Project controlling
  • Oversee the month-end close processes for the entity through connecting with the NAM GSC CoCe
  • Review, Develop, Implement and Validate the Key Internal Controls for the entity
  • Be the point of contact for various specialists, including Tax, Audit, AP/AR, ...
  • Support and oversee the Budget & Forecast Processes, working with business partners and GSC Central Functions to drive forecast accuracy and actions
  • Leverage variance analysis of Actuals & Forecast - presenting results to management to make business decisions where needed
  • Anticipate risk and opportunities on the short to medium term and works with business partners to react appropriately
  • Support partners on projects: justification, implementation, and spending
  • Manage and develop the skills and competencies of indirect reports (NAM GSC CoCe)
  • Inventory Control focus ranging from Excess and Obsolete monthly compliance, Cycle Count program oversight and involvement, Work in Process reporting and analysis, in addition to other project specific inventory implications
  • Support and enforce monthly required governance and compliance / internal control processes, procedures or activities for the entity

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting -or- MBA /CPA
  • At least 3+ years related progressive manufacturing controlling or related financial experience
  • Advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, Power Point, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP and SQL) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
  • Possess superior Excel skills including charting and ability to manipulate large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information
