You will be based in Latvia (Riga ) at one of the biggest electronic plants in Baltics (LEXEL FABRIKA SIA). You will work within cross-functional expert team (project leader, PCB Assembly experts, project buyers, test experts). Team spread over 5 locations over Europe & supporting intra group factories & EMS (41 IG + 3 EMS under radar). Your main activities will be located to local (Riga) entity.
You will be reporting to the Industrialization Manager, Lucas Tapie.
Your Mission:
- Provide PCB'A industrialization services within new offer creation, product evolution or industrial transformation projects.
- Realize upstream & downstream PCB'A Industrialization for the whole electronic projects such as - Design For Manufacturing, Tooling, mean quotation, mean realization, Qualification. Ensure the manufacturing feasibility of PCBA, the implementation and qualification of the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturability guidelines.
- Act as a project leader for PCBA industrialization to assure quality results and on-time deliveries of tools, reports, and prototypes in collaboration with R&D, Indus, Project Quality, Assembly engineer, Project manager, Internal production teams and Suppliers.
- Support on product costing and project cost estimation, follow it up via execution phase. Being responsible on committed budget acc. Project cost contract.
Main activities:
- Industrialization for Electronics products (Design for Manufacturing, Collaboration with R&D & plant, specification for PCB'A tooling, cost estimation, follow up prototype runs, formalization of documentation related (reports, work instructions).
- Provide technical support (Bring locally/regionally his/her technical expertise) for Electronics factories, EMS and Line of Business.
- Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new assembly technologies/processes on demand.
Your main communication stakeholders:
- Plant engineering team, plant production team, Department managers, Project Leaders and Managers, R&D, experts with Industrialization team or LoB.
We expect from You:

- University degree in any Technical |Engineering Science
- 3+ years' practical experience in PCB Method Engineering role or equivalent of experience at PCB'A manufacturing site
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills English
Professional knowledge expected:
- PCBA manufacturing feasibility (DFM)
- Ability to evaluate a PCBA assembly process.
- PCB, PCB'A design rules and guideline
- Tooling design process
- Electronic competencies
- Electronic production
- Basic manufacturing supply chain and planning
Personality
- Open-minded, proactive ('can do' attitude), open to learn every day.
- Result-oriented, analytical way of working an attention to the detail, strong problem-solving skills.

Working place: Riga, Latvia & Europe (project based)
Travel mode: based on project needs, Y1 minor (2-3 times a year), Y2 shall be ready for business trips up to ~20% of time.
