We are looking for experienced PCB Assembly process engineer for our manufacturing location based in Riga (Latvia) at one of the biggest electronic plants in Baltics (LEXEL FABRIKA SIA). You will work within cross-functional expert team (project leaders, Assembly experts, R&D, project buyers, automation experts).
You'll be responsible for providing PCB'A industrialization services for new offers, product evolution, or industrial transformation projects , including upstream and downstream activities such as Design For Manufacturing, tooling, quotation, realization, and qualification. As a project leader, you'll ensure manufacturing feasibility, lead the implementation and qualification of manufacturing processes, and collaborate with various teams to deliver quality results and meet project timelines and budgets.

Your To Dos:
- Industrialization for Electronics products (Design for Manufacturing, Collaboration with R&D & plant, specification for PCB'A tooling, cost estimation, follow up prototype runs, formalization of documentation related (reports, work instructions).
- Provide technical support (Bring locally/regionally his/her technical expertise) for Electronics factories, EMS and Line of Business.
- Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new assembly technologies/processes on demand.
Your Profile:
- University degree in any Technical Engineering Science
- 3+ years' practical experience in PCB Method Engineering role or equivalent of experience at PCB'A manufacturing site
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills English
- Professional knowledge expected: PCBA manufacturing feasibility (DFM), PCB, PCB'A design rules and guidelines, ability to evaluate a PCBA assembly process, tooling design process, electronic competencies, and electronic production.
- Open-mindset, proactivity (can do attitude), and willingness to learn every day.
- Ability to lead, adaptability and customer and results orientation.
