We are looking for a team member, to join our local HR team! We would welcome an open minded, friendly, communicative person, who really enjoys working in payroll and personal administration.

Job tasks:

Accurate Payroll Processing: Collect and prepare payroll data input for monthly payroll which is managed by an external payroll vendor. Ensure the precise and timely compilation of employee payroll inputs in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Payroll Reporting: Generate payroll reports, encompassing tax filings, earnings statements, and labor distribution reports.

Annutal tax declaration: Manage the preparation and execution of annual tax declarations, ensuring clear communication and consultation with employees throughout the process.

Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain employee data, including new hires, terminations, work agreements, maternity leaves...etc and changes in compensation or employee job data.

Employee benefits admnistration : Maintain data and administer benefits programs and cafeteria system and ensuring correct deductions and contributions.

Employee support: Address and resolve payroll and employee data discrepancies, inquiries, and issues from employees, HR, and other stakeholders effectively.

Compliance Management: Stay informed about tax regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements to guarantee accurate payroll processing and reporting. Actively participate in payroll projects to enhance processes and systems.

Audit Support: Assist with both internal and external audits related to payroll records and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Communication: Collaborate closely with HR, finance, and other departments to facilitate accurate and timely payroll processing and to resolve any payroll-related matters efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing or HR administration
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and payroll calculations.
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and labor laws in Slovakia.
  • Exceptional accuracy in data entry and payroll processing, with a strong commitment to maintaining compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction with employees, HR, and other departments.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth payroll operations and effective issue resolution.
  • Experience in supporting internal and external audits related to payroll processes and records.
  • Willingness to actively engage in payroll-related projects aimed at enhancing processes and systems.
