Job Title: Payroll CI, Compliance and Project Support - Europe

Location: Europe

Travel: Occasional travel across Europe

Mission/Summary:

This position is a key role within the Payroll and Time Management (TM) Service Line, reporting to the Payroll and Time Management Director- Europe. You will support on Payroll and TM related topics. From project support and Change management responsibilities to Continuous improvement activities, ensuring ongoing compliance across Europe.

The role will be responsible to engage with the HR Services Teams in country, regionally and globally to ensure services are aligned to business/legislation needs, applying a continuous improvement ethos to ultimately increase customer satisfaction, simplification and standardisation, with a hands on approach to ensure end to end success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the development and deployment of a standardized process improvement methodology across our Payroll and TM teams
  • Challenge the HR Services/Payroll leads and their teams to optimize our internal processes (drive efficiency) and deliver customer Satisfaction (SLAs, KPIs).
  • Identifies customer service measurements and puts in place plans to increase customer satisfaction ensuring compliance to standard audit requirements (KICS)
  • Working with our local, regional and global teams to develop and maintain our business impact assessment to create our business continuity plans for payroll .
  • Working with the local and regional teams to identify process improvements and opportunities to digitize processes, encouraging our 'what did you improve today' philosophy (WDYIT)
  • Working closely with the Payroll and TM Product owners to identify opportunities for change, whether this is a process or system.
  • Working with our local teams to understand their current Service catalogue for both Payroll and Time management. Create a standardised Europe Service catalogue. Supporting and driving change.
  • Supporting the local teams with Working Time knowledge. Taking ownership of any regional reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the regional team with activities and actions needed within our payroll or TM transformation projects, having IMPACT.
  • With a 'one team' philosophy you may be required to support on various tasks within the department as requested by your line manager


Skills and Attributes:
  • Degree/vocational qualification
  • Excellent English written and verbal
  • Strong self-motivator with the ability to multi-task, working in a face-paced environment
  • Experience of continuous improvement / Lean Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the business (lead Business Presentations)
  • Experience of operating within a fast paced, results oriented shared services environment
  • Knowledge of HR processes and working within a Shared Services environment
  • Payroll
