You are accountable for developing and implementing strategies to drive profitability and expand SE market share and will be responsible for the price, place and promotion of the portfolio of Industry Automation products within the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) categories.
The role requires a good foundation in marketing and engineering fundamentals. Success demands the role holder be a well organised, strategic thinker, highly articulate with excellent presentation skills. The desire and skill of developing solutions, suitable market approach and campaigns which will increase Schneider Electric's market penetration in the Industry Automation market.

Responsibilities:
- The primary contact for the marketing of Industry Automation (PLC, PAC & HMI) portfolio of offers including positioning, launch, promotion, commercial monitoring, and promotion.
- Understand the competitive market environment and trends for the PLC, PAC & HMI offers and how price positioning is deployed. Suggest approaches based on market insight and experience.
- Identify tangible category market opportunities including real customer value propositions and develop/implement go to market strategies/plans that drive order intake and secure market share.
- Identify and develop promotion and awareness campaigns to support prescription efforts and sales opportunities. To include customer/project specific bid opportunities advising sales teams and business leaders on profitability and product suitability.
- Deployment of new offers within the Industry Automation portfolio. Understanding offer fit for different customer types, segment applications, and build a plan to deploy and maximise profitability.
- Create and regularly monitor KPI's to ensure that campaigns and initiatives are having the desired impact and adjust as necessary.
- Act as the offer champion, being fully conversant in the technical and application aspects of the range of PLC, PAC & HMI offers. Continually self-develop.
- Understand, adapt, develop, and propose communications by channel, segment and by entity through development of Marketing Communication methods and material that both promote and inform on the offer capabilities.
- Ensure Competitor knowledge is captured and utilised appropriately within the business.
- Through collaboration with other category managers ensure best practices are shared and adopted and explore all potential Industry Automation cross-sell opportunities across all SE business units and channels.

- High level of numeracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly articulate with good presentation skills.
- Proficient influencer, comfortable interacting with all levels in the business.
- Customer first mindset.
- Digital Native - Promoter of e-commerce and value creation via social media.
