Schneider Electric is searching for an Offer Quality Leader (OQL) for our Medium Voltage Switchgears Team. This person will leverage his/her passion for Customer Satisfaction to implement all corrective and preventative actions needed to improve our design robustness and the quality of our current and future offers. The OQL will then ensure proper execution with our manufacturing plants. You will be working in close collaboration with our Design, Labs, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management teams in an agile environment.   • Define and execute the Customer Satisfaction & Quality strategy, project quality plan, offer quality roadmap, offer surveillance plan and quality targets for your portfolio of offers
  • Manage the complete scope of Quality actions with marketing, design, industrialization, manufacturing, supply chain, services... for your offers to improve the customer experience and ensure quality, reliability, robustness and safety.
  • Drive risk management using the quality methods and tools such as FMEA, FTA, 8D, etc.
  • Lead structured problem solving and prevention (8D) with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing,...) and manage customer communication with countries and customers
  • Ensure that customer feedback and field test are continuously integrated in product improvement
  • E nsure that the customer's needs are well received, analyzed, and translated into requirements and Critical to Quality for the new evolution of the offer.
  • Apply the Design for Safety and Reliability methodology to ensure our new evolution meet the targets on Safety, Robustness & Reliability

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering Discipline
  • Experience working within an Agile Environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to SE manufacturing plants and potentially end customer sites
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and articulate technical problems.
  • Working knowledge of fundamentals and practice of quality in product design and implementation in manufacturing
  • Experience with 8D methodology, 5 Whys, Cause/Effect Analysis, FMEAs, Functional Analysis, Tolerancing, Reliability, Statistical Capabilities
  • Strong skills in communication, risk assessment, change management, problem solving, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence and convince.
  • Exceptional leadership with experience leading multi-site & remote teams
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Nice to have ability to speak Spanish
